A few weeks ago, Micah and I headed north to the snowy land of Jewel Basin Wilderness. A combination of laziness and snow doubt kept me from swapping my regular tires with snow tires. Snow doubt is when you’re in an area with so little snow that you can’t possibly imagine snow existing anywhere in the world.
Fun fact: Snow exists.
Naturally there was more snow than my wee little tires could handle, which is how Micah and I wound up walking two miles to the trailhead. Sorry friend.
Luckily Micah brought along some French toast for us to nibble on and it was delicious.
